Hello everyone, welcome to Part 1 of our Walkthrough for the Curse of Love Adventure of Harry Potter Hogwarts Mystery. This adventure is available for students of Year 5 Chapter 6 and above, and once you unlock it, you will have 4 days and 13 hours to complete it.Step into an enchanting Valentine’s Day adventure! (Disclaimer: This walkthrough will feature the gameplay from the perspective of a graduate student. Since the adventure is available for students of Year 5 and above, some dialogue, the star, and attribute requirements for certain tasks might be different for you, depending on your current progress with the main story.)

Proceed to the Great Hall when you are ready. Upon arriving, you’ll notice the speech bubbles above some of the characters. Tap on those if you’re curious to see what they have to say. When you arrive, Penny and Charlie will thank you for coming and wish you a happy Valentine’s Day.

Penny will comment that she loves this time of year and thinks that Valentine’s Day is her favorite holiday of all. Charlie will joke with her, saying that every holiday is her favorite. She’ll insist that Valentine’s Day is indeed special, though.

Following that, she’ll ask you what your favorite part of Valentine’s Day is. There are three different options to choose from. These options will influence some dialogue that will follow, but they won’t impact the story.

Penny will tell you that she’s making Valentine’s Day cards and that she’s brought them for everyone.

Then Penny will go to hand out the rest of the Valentine’s cards, and you’ll see that on the card it says “Bee my Valentine” with a picture of a bee on it. Charlie will tell you that, according to Penny, the next step is to put your name on the card and give it to someone special. Whoever you give the card to will be your Valentine this year. He’ll suggest helping you consider who your Valentine could be.

To complete the next task, you need to earn five stars within three hours. Three stars are required to pass. Since this task requires a lot of energy, it is recommended to start it with a full energy bar.

Bonus progress actions are tied to Merula, Badeea, and Barnaby. Prioritize these actions to save some energy. Slide the screen left and right to check all available actions.

Then you’ll be able to choose your Valentine. This is a very IMPORTANT choice, so choose the person you like the most.

Charlie will ask you if you’re sure about your choice. There are two options to choose from. Here, you will have the opportunity to choose again if you change your mind.

Charlie will advise you that the next thing you should do is take your Valentine on a date. You’ll ask him if he has any ideas where you could take your crush, and he’ll tell you that Madam Rosmerta is offering a romantic meal for Valentine’s Day couples.

Go to the Three Broomsticks to continue the story. (The next lines of dialogue will differ depending on who you chose to be your Valentine, but in any case, it does not affect the story).

You’ll get extra lines of dialogue if you’re dating your Valentine.

Merula will say that the bee card was a bit embarrassing, while you’ll tell her that everyone’s got a different idea of how to show their feelings.

Then she’ll start telling you what love and romance mean to her. To complete the next task, you need to earn five stars within one hour. All five stars are required to pass. Since this task requires a lot of energy, it is recommended to start it with a full energy bar.

Bonus progress actions are tied to your Valentine and your character. Prioritize these actions to save some energy. Slide the screen left and right to check all available actions.

When you finish, you’ll thank your Valentine for sharing her feelings with you, and she’ll say that romance is all about time spent together and that actions speak louder than words. (Of course, keep in mind that the dialogue will differ depending on whom you chose as your Valentine).

Then she’ll ask you how closely her thoughts about love and romance align with yours. There are three options to choose from. If you like your Valentine, it is recommended to pick the first option.

Suddenly, you’ll notice something beneath the table.

At that moment, Madam Rosmerta will approach you and apologize for the wait, asking if you would like to order. You’ll agree, but then inquire if perhaps someone lost a bee pendant.

Madam Rosmerta will comment that since you are the one who found it, she’ll say that it’s yours now.

Then you’ll tell your crush that you know what you’re going to do with the bee pendant. You’ll say that since you gave her a Valentine’s Day card with a picture of a bee before, you’ll also give her the bee pendant as a gift.

Your Valentine will, of course, accept it and put on the necklace.

However, as soon as your crush puts on the necklace, she’ll fall asleep, which will be very strange to you.

You’ll try to wake her up, but without success, and you’ll decide to take your Valentine to the Hospital Wing.

Proceed to the Hospital Wing when you are ready. When you arrive there, you’ll thank Professor McGonagall for helping you get your Valentine to the Hospital Wing.

You’ll ask the professor what she thinks is wrong with your Valentine, but she’ll say that it’s too early to tell.

Professor McGonagall will say that to determine the cause and nature of that condition, you’ll need more information.

Professor McGonagall will confirm that it’s not just an ordinary slumber, but rather that your Valentine has fallen into a bewitched sleep. You’ll recall that this happened shortly after your crush put on the bee pendant. You’ll wonder if your crush will wake up if you remove that pendant. Professor McGonagall will warn you to be careful because you don’t know what you’re dealing with.

You’ll remove the necklace, but unfortunately, nothing will happen.

Professor McGonagall will tell you that you will need to investigate further to determine the cause of your Valentine’s magical slumber. She’ll add that there are many forms of bewitched sleep known to the wizarding world and that you must identify and eliminate them one by one. You’ll ask her where to start, and she’ll advise you to go to the Library and research all forms of bewitched sleep.

She’ll tell you to say something to your Valentine before you go because there’s a possibility she might hear you. There are three different options to choose from. All of them will eventually lead to the same outcome, so feel free to take your pick.

Then you’ll decide to head to the Library, and Professor McGonagall will wish you good luck.
